2005 Domaine de la Vougeraie Pommard

Great bottle though, Killer nose of ripe fruit, very primal still. Rich and ripe on the palate, rather round and lush on the texture, a bit more modern than you would expect from Burgundy but it shows the power of Pommard. Not sure if it is an ager given its lush presentation, but it was showing very well.

I have a few 2005 red Burgundies that I'm itching to open but will try to hold off until 2013 in case they are in a closed phase now.
