Opened our last bottle of 1997 Sonoma Creek, Pinot Noir, Sonoma County. It was the best. Had been lying around here since last November after having sent each of my simblings one as part of their Christmas packages. Had it with roast pork loin. It was at it's peak methinks. Full fruit still there, but very complex with even a hint of earthiness. When Mrs IK keeps saying "more, more", it comfirms my suspicions that we have a winner. Easily the same quality as those costing ten or twenty dollars more.
