Wine with Fish

I am very new to wine. And I would like some help as to which wines are good with fish. Red/White, Sweet/Dry. A specific fish would be Mahi Mahi. Thanks for your suggestions. NICK

Hi Raptor, and welcome to the Wine Board. A good wine to go Mahi Mahi, a.d.a. fish dolphine, is New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc; preferably from Hawks Bay. This is particularly so, if you are going to use any kind of citrus; even just squeezing lime or lemon on it.
