scallops. angel hair, red sauce

can anyone suggest a wine to go with a an angel hair pasta dish which will include scallops and red sauce?

Hi Rue, and welcome to the Wine Board. This is going to sound like a broken record to others around here, buy I would go with a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Cerasuolo. Cerasuolo is a term they use in Abruzzo for Rosato. It is a rose'; but not you're everyday rose'. It is dark enough to pass for a pinot noir. It will go perfectly with your dish, and should not be too hard to find in the Apple. Do not mistakenly pick up a Montepulciano d' Abruzzo Rosso (a red wine) which are much more common and much too much wine for your dish.
