Another Orphan

Looking for something to take to Valli-Day Din-Din and ran across a bottle of 82 Joseph Swan Estate Pinot. Last drank in October of 96 and it was spectacular.( One of Joes' last vintages before he died ). Called our dining companions and had them come by 15 minutes earlier than planned. Opened bottle and poured this brilliant ruby juice. Prisms of light danced from the glasses. Swirled, brought to nose,,,subdued rose petals came from glass....Eagerly filled mouth with this bootiful juice.....DADBURNIT....Not one whit of fruit. I hate it when this happens. WW
