Dark garnet in color. Tea, cola, berries and spice on the nose. Nicely balanced flavors of raspberry, tea & cola with earthy side notes. Long finish. Paired with grilled blue fin tuna. Wonderful. $22. 14% Alc/vol.

The bottle doesn't indicate a blend and Sanford doesn't have a web site so I'm assuming yes. Why you ask?

The raspberry description makes me curious--that's all.

I find raspberry flavors in some Pinot Noirs.
The Sancerre pinot noirs sometimes seem to have more raspberry or strawberry flavors than cherry.

I find Sanford Pinots consistently good up and down their product line, and a decent value compared with some other Cali/Santa Barbara PN producers.

Cheers,
