Dan or WOW did you run into this hummer on the trip? Absolutely the front-runner for the P/Q Pinot award IMHO. Loads of brite red fruit, a touch of earth and a passel of spices with a hint of oak. Needs at least another 1-2 to get its' sea-lrgs, but should blossom like a spring rose. 88/91 18 by the box. 14.1% alc. WW

I'm afraid I didn't see or taste this one WW. Dan posted on the 2002 which he found disappointing.

The '04s have hit the shelves down here, but I had been avoiding it because of the '02. Glad to hear it about the '04 -- I'll give it a try. Runs under $14 in these parts.

We always need another "house pinot." Right now, we're using Queen of Hearts and Sipino for that purpose. We like the former better than the latter, but enjoy both.
