I posted once before on this easy-drinking wine from southern France. I ate at Ruby Tuesday last night (using a 25% off coupon) and had a taste of this and a taste of Red Diamond Merlot, Columbia Valley, WA to decide which to order by the glass to go with steak and lobster tail. I figured Merlot would be a better match to the steak but I didn't care for the Merlot at all so asked for the Hob Nob Pinot Noir. It was quite pleasant if not inspirational. I am going to see if the grocery store still stocks it because it might be a good selection for the summer wines tasting I am doing at my church June 26th. Usually I am serving wines I purchased in Raleigh or from the wineries and I would like to include a few wines this time that attendees can buy locally if they like them and that aren't too expensive.
