2002 Domaine Sylvain Pataille, Marsannay, "Clos du Roy"

Finally at home so I got to try something of my own...

Nice "simple" burgundy. Simple cuz I didn't know what to think of it on first taste. Went down easy...nice mouthfeel. Smooth tannins, what is that taste.....dried cherries? Prunes? nicely considered wood, ...smooth,....nice mouth feel....good acidity, .developed into a Medium-long length finish.

$32 by the bottle....nice 2002 but not one for the extended storage spots..

Not much change though it feels like to should be consumed soon. Finish is medium at best now.
