Luigi's restaurant is having a tasting of five single-vineyard Pinot Noirs from AP Vin (free tasting) and wines are also available to order by the glass or bottles at a special price to take home. I did purchase one bottle of AP Vin's Rosella Vineyard P.N. (Santa Lucia Highlands) after a Fayetteville Wine Society event but I don't think I've had any of the others from this producer.
I am also going to a liquor dinner at Zely and Ritz in December--menu sounds good and drinks include tequila and bourbon. I will stay overnight in Raleigh that night and do some Christmas shopping at one of the big malls the next day. I plan to have lunch at an Irish pub on the shopping day. Have been there once before and the food is good and the owners are from County Tipperary. A catered holiday lunch at work on Dec. 17th. Lots to look forward to at this time of year. Will be seeing my sister's sons and family in San Diego soon.
