I know it's the second label of the Chateau of fourth growth status and have found a stash at $17 per bottle but have no experience with this producer.

Sorry Drew but I hadn't bought any Bordeauxs since the 95 vintage until the 2000. Do have some of the 2000 on order as Beycheville is one of my fav Frenchies. WW

St Julien is a very small place, so there is some semblence of terrior. Have had the '98 Les Fiefs de Lagrange. Very nice. That could indicate the second of Beychevelle would be fine too. Or you could get the Les Fiefs for a couple of bucks less. Think Hostsie will back me up on this.
