2000 Sarget de Gruaud Larose

This 2nd lable of the 2nd growth St. Julian has exceeded my expectations by a mile. Sleek and stylish this is one palate pleaser. Deep ruby, with violets, tar, tobacco, and brite red fruits in abundance. Lovely entry, a solid mid-palate feel and a 4&1/2 lapper finish, "this hound will hunt". (an old Okie saying). Originally reviewed by several of the espurtz as good to very good, I went with a gut feeling knowing the property and am glad. 93-95/96. 14.49 en premieur.
