2000 Ch. d'Arcins, Haut-Medoc

Brought up for potroast leftovers with oven fries & green beans. No decanting but poured an hour before din-din. Nose blossomed and filled the room, ripe sweet fruit over juniper, more of same on the palate, lip-smacking red fruit, moderate finish. Can't find it in CellarTracker or the old cellar book, but suspect it was purchased at a discounter in '03 for $12-$15. Have one more in the hole.
