Didn't get the vintage on this wine sampled by the glass at Firefly Restaurant, Hotel Madera, Washington, DC.
Dark purple red color--more brilliant crimson at the rim. Medium body. Pleasant--nothing complex or really special. $7.00 the glass at the restaurant.
Restaurant decor was attractive--one wall has birch-like tree trunks with lanterns. A stone wall separates parts of the restaurant. Sort-of indoor/outdoor atmosphere.
