The tastiest La Lagune since the 82 IMHO. Medium deep ruby with the berry, earthy, cigat-box nose most HMs posses. Lovely entry, a solid center and a long 4+-lapper finish. We had an interesting cartoon in the Bangor Daily News the other day. It showed a guy looking at the day by day weather forcast in the newspaper, which showed rain every day for two weeks. Under the forcast ran this headline: Drought Continues!

Opened another for lunch yesterday. This is one tasty bugger! The aromatics have really evolved and with the addition of some sweet cinnamon expands the the taste profile greatly. A really nice drink that has almost resolved the tannins. Give it another 1-2 and "Anchors Aweigh". WW
