I am trying to determine the value as well as any tasting experiences of a
1961 Chateau Malescot-Margaux
Saint-Exupery.

The wine has been maintained in a properly controlled celler. Thank you

Hi Rennhard and welcome to the board. I last had this wine in 98 and my tasting notes indicated it was nearing its` peak. An exceptional effort from Malescot and ceertainly one of the andsurprises of the 61 vintage. The wine is worth between 200-250 dollars, but if you`ve read the board before, you`ll find the market for single bottles scarce. Do your best- fried,girl-friend, or even the wife a favor and open that sucker up and Party-Down!! winoweenie

Never had the Malescot, but other 61's I've had were absolutely wonderful! Should be a most enjoyable experience. Cheers!
