2003 Ch. Ducluzeau Listrac- Medoc

A Cru-Bourgeois from a 20-acre vineyard overlooking the village of Listrac, this wine showed brilliant ruby in the glass but gave a shy, very muted nose.... not promising at all. However, good Merlot fruit came through on the palate, with just enough spice and oak to be interesting, and led to an unexpected lingering finish. Yum! 13% alc/vol and $12.89 at Costco. May put up a case for parties.
