Comtes de Tastes - the bottle indicates 60% Merlot/40% Cabernet Sauvignon but the wine shop and internet state 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Usually Bordeaux and I don't mix but this one is splended for the price. Very dark purple in the glass. Nose of dark currant, dark fruit, herbs de Provence and dark loam. Sampled immediately from the bottle, read wine shop, deep herb infused blackberry and currant flavors with hints of fresh, semi-clean mushroom. Tons of mid to fine grained tannins and a nice, lengthy finish. 13% Alc/vol. $18 but received a 15% mixed case discount putting it at $15.30, Wonderful.
