hello to anyone who reads this.....i am in dire need of help in finding a good wine to match pasta dishes......if u have an answer to my question please get back to me.....Thanx

That's so easy to answer. From this country, try a Zinfandel. But, remember where the pasta dishes (I assume with some tomato based sauce) are from - Italy. So, try a nice red Italian wine, like a Chianti. Erik Banti is outside the Chianti region, but he makes a great line of Sangiovese (that's the major grape in Chianti) based wines. Try his Carato - it's a wonderful Sangiovese and it's usually $10 or less.
