2005 Chateau Relais de Cheval Blanc

Third wine tonight with my clients. For $33 in a restaurant, this was a very serviceable bordeaux. Deep garnet purple in color, opaque, very dense dark fruit nose, and some older wood. Much the same on the palate, good solid wine, decent structure, nothing special, simple but solid and serviceable. If retail is $15 a bottle, I would probably buy one.
