The Speculator rides again

WS edition of 31 March (?! hell, we're only half-way through Feb here!) suggests once again that a rising tide floats all boats with their review of the 2000 vintage in Bordeaux. Looks like Lafite is out of play at $400 per, and Lunch Bags is damned near at $110 per. Will have to bottom feed on the lesser houses, unless Costco comes through with major discounts.

Thank goodness for futures. Still no sign of the 2000s' out here due to the west coast dock strike. My pusher kept his in France in refrigerated containers till the strike was settled. Lesser growths are on the water. The big boys'll come later. WW
