I am looking for the best Bordeaux wines to compliment----

1. The two deserts: "Baba au Rhum with Caramel Mousse and Chocolate Ganachel"; and "White Chocolate Mousse with pineapples and spun sugar".

2. A "Whole Roasted Duck".

I know it is very specific info I am looking for----but I have to ask!! I need it for a press article-----and need names of Bordeaux wines that will compliment these deserts and the duck!!

Welcome to the board. This isn't an assignment for a culinary school or wine master course is it? Are these dishes you are preparing in the home? I like Beaujolais or Burgundy (maybe a Volnay)with duck but some Bordeaux may be okay also. I don't have any great inspiration for the dessert--my inclination would be a white dessert wine or port. On the Wine Spectator website: winespectator.com under "Dining" and then "Food and Wine" matches you can get general advice but they don't name specific chateaux or crus.
