2005 Vincent Saincrit Eleve en Futs de Chene

A cheapie Grand Vin de Bordeaux from Costco; with fillet mignon & veggies (yellow squash, 'shrooms, pearl onions) all grilled over oak. Slightly diluted color, rather muted nose, but lively enough on the palate with good fruit structure. Would prefer a bit more CS in the blend of 80% Merlot and 20% CS. Still, what can we expect for all of $8.69? 13% alc/vol. For simple Sunday night fare, not bad at all.
