Not bad but could have been better.

1997 Arcadian Chardonnay; Monterey (CA, US) - $23.50

Typical color, brassy-lemony. Nice nose with apple, pear, melon, vanilla and some minerals. On the palate, nice wine with delicate balance but lacking any oomph. Could possibly pick up a little weight and depth with some age. Very Burgundian in style and delicious to be sure. But after reading the TN from the recommendation, I was expecting more.
