'01 Pinot Blanc "Les Charmes" Kreydenweiss, Alsace

$4.50 for a three-oz. pour at Vin Restaurant. Slight pear nose, clear with a light to medium gold color. A little pear in the flavor as well as the nose. Balanced and refreshing. One of the better Pinot Blancs I've tried (I haven't had too many).
This is a summer house white for the owner of the retail wine shop tied in with the restaurant.
