2008 La Crema Chardonnay Sonoma

$17 Citrus, Granny Smith Apple, Vanilla and Caramel 87 points. Consistency point +1 = 88.

Now while I don't think there is anything unique about La Crema other than a consistent wine production that is well above average, I would have to say they make very good wines for a wine enthusiast looking to raise the bar north of $15 but under $25.

This used to be our favorite so long as we had a very buttery roast chicken, which we don't do very much anymore.
