Brought a bottle of this to James Taylor (along with a few others) to have with a picnic dinner on the lawn at Tanglewood earlier this week. It was the hands down winner with the group. I'm not usually a fan of oaky chards, but this one had so much integrated fruit it was really outstanding. The finish went on and on as well leaving me wishing I brough home more than 2 bottles.

A James Taylor concert? I've seen and heard him on stage at Walnut Creek (outdoor amphitheater) and at a centennial concert in Raleigh. Still listen to his music on automobile trips sometimes.

JT plays his "home " site every other year on the fourth of July. I've been going for a decade. This year he decided to play his off year so we went again. It's a fantastic venue. Everyone set's up on the lawn with a picnic dinner, candles, and wine. He starts to play around 7 and continues through sunset. A more relaxed and groovy night is hard to come by. When the show is on the 4th, they even do a great fireworks display at the end.

PS: If anyone else from the area wants to come, this would make an excellent venue for a small off line. Anyone???

Understand he just earned the title "Grand Wuss" from somebody. Yeah, a mini off line for New Englanders and anybody else would be fun.

What are the odds of getting Verne to come. Love to see him in socks and shorts.
