Beautiful soft velvety entry with great fruit on the mid ending with just the right amount of buttry oak. Not an oak bomb in any way though. We paid restaurant price, but upon looking online I find it to be a nice value at $14.99. I will buy some as a house wine next time out.

I'm not sure as this weekend was pretty full of wine. I will check when I buy a case and let you know. I'm thinking Napa.

Got it. http://www.abundancevineyards.com/

Santa Rosa. They seem to buy their grapes. The website doesn't say anything about where the 2001 came from, though.

Certainly looks like they are a sourcing winery.

Got to say, however, I wish they'd hire a writer for that Web site. I haven't seen such bad marketing-oriented writing, even on a wine label, in a long time.
