Had a chance to taste at Freemark Abbey and the tastin room manager pulled out a few interesting wines. Small notes as there was a lot of conversation

2007 Freemark Abbey CS. Lovely ripe but focused wine but little short on the finish.

2006 Josephine, Broad flavours, berries, oak and oak spices, slightly rough tannins but not althougher at the moment.

1991 Bosche; great wine, bright berries, tobacco, great balance and structure, finishes with a bit of tea, very nice, clean

1995 Sycamore: another very good wine, more primal than the 91, still very fruit forward, nice structure, good length and finish

The Bosche has been a staple of mine since the lovely 78. Great wine but needs time. WW

WW, The Bosche was definitely my fav of the tasting and it tasted younger than a 20 year odl wine has any right to taste like! I loved that bottle.
