This beautiful Napa estate just no of St Helena produces some fine juice. Deep ruby. Typical aged cabernet nose with cassis and red fruits taking the lead. Soft entry, solid center and a 4 lapper finish. A casuslity of the wine glut the distributor sold his inventory to my favorite pusher at a deep discount. 90/93. 35. 14.5% alc. WW

Had another fer lunch today and the only thing I found different was that the nose had improved dramatically. Seems the floral notes are stronger and the finish has lenghtened a tad. A terrific bottle that still has some soft, supple tannis that needs another 1-2. Will wait for the next bottle to kick up the score. WW

Boy do this be nice juice! Had another yesterday after spending all morning at the hospital wif CB and this sucker seems to be getting better. The aromatics literally lit up the family room. Doubt the rest will be in the cellar much longer. WW
