I have recently purchased a bottle of 1973 Beaulieu Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.
Can anyone tell me anything about this wine (if I paid too much, $59, should I wait to drink, is it a decent bottle of wine, etc...)
Any help is appreciated

thanks

Rdownen, Welcome to the board. If the B.V. 73 has had Optimum storage it is probably still alive. 73 was a very-good, not great vintage. My suggestion is to open at the earliest and you`ll answer your own question about value. winoweenie
