Seemed like the time to crack one of these elegant, brawney suckers. Loads of cassis, cinnamon, allspice, cigar-box, and fruits hit the nose and carry thru on the palate. As usual this is a wine of great finesse but power. Like Warrens' " Iron fist in a velvet glove " descriptors. A glowing deep ruby with all components in harmony. An entry as suave as Astaire, a middle as Weighty as Kelly, and a finish Like Grecko ( That's Fred, Gene And Jose ). This powerhouse can be enjoyed now, but like great wines of the world will go another 20 in a waltz. 94/95. 40 in case lots. WW
