Duckhorn 2003 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Restrained noses again (was it me?), more complex and full bodied than merlot and slightly more approachable (?) lots of structure, tannic but dose of dark fruits, plums, vanilla, coffee, and some oak. Needs time.

Duckhorn 2003 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Rector Creek Vineyard
More aromatic nose than above but it appears to be a cooler climate wine than above as well. More elegant(?)

Wow the Eng seems like you'v e been a busy lil' bee. Nice notes. Think you'll find the Montelena as well as the Ducks need at least 5-7 and in the stronger vintage years 8-10. WW
