'93 Zabaco Cabernet Sonoma

Snatched this little beauty from shelf exile in a bargain grocery basket for $4.99 'tother day. Very floral aromatics of dark fruit, cedar and vanilla. The dark fruit flavors are enhanced by mellow oak notes that add richness and structure to this lil' beauty. This probably was an oak monster on release. Good solid entry, mid and finish with plenty of life left. 13.5% Alc/Vol. My humble experience with the '93 vintage leads me to believe that they're better agers than the heralded '94... this being another case in point. This was certainly an under $10 bottle on release and I wish I had more.
