Has anybody had any Cabs from this producer? We have the opportunity to visit them when we're in the Napa area in a few weeks. I'd like to have an idea what to expect before we get there, since we've never had anything from there. I understand they only make about 240 cases a year and, as far as I know, none makes it back here in the Boston area.

KC, I`ve tried their wines on 2 occassions and found them to be basically sound. Not great, but sound as most wines in the valley are sound.winoweenie

KC, My local supplier just informed me he`d received both cases of the 97 that came into the state and it was a superior effort. Also, I`m getting a case so will post TN`s on it in a couple of weeks. winoweenie

WW, Hope you taste before we leave on Nov. 1, but I guess we'll drop in on them regardless. I heard some things about them second hand, and basically what you mentioned - sound, well made wines. Not Caymus SS, but not the price either. What the hey, might as well pick up a few bottles, since we can't get it here any other way.

KC , probably wont get around to tasting this until I return. If you haven`t tried it , I was sincere about Brava Terrace. Fred Halpert, owner/Chef does some marv` thins and also has a fine WL. It`s in the Freemark-Abbey shopping center. winoweenie

WW, Very strange coincidence. We actually are planning to have lunch there after the Lewelling visit. That makes it definite.
