I have a bottle of Niebaum-Coppola Estate Cabernet Sauvignon which I got from the vineyard back a year and a half ago. The bottle is numbered if this matters as well. I would like to let it age longer, but I am not sure if it will keep. If it is a keeper, how long should I let it age. I am new to this so pleases try to go easy on me.

Thanks

Hi TS and welcome to the board. If this is the 97 Rubicon, you have a potentally fine wine. Needs at least another 5 years to reach some semblance of greatness. WW

The bottle does not have rubicon on it. Only Cabernet-Sauvignon along with the vintage(1997), bottles produced(12381) , bottle number, and alcohol(13.9). Label reads Niebaum-Coppola Estate Wines Napa Valley with a Niebaum-Coppola Wine Cellar stamp in the background. I have heard that the rubicon is well recieved, but would imagine it would be on the label somewhere.
