Celebrating painting our bedroom in anticipation of selling our house because we bought our DREAM HOME last Sunday!
Clear ruby with slight bricking. Nose of dark fruit, black cherry and mocha, very floral. Flavors of milk and bitter chocolate and mature plum and a bitter componet on the 20+ second finish. Eileen loved the wine with peppered tenderloin, spuds and field greens with stilton. Seems to be at peak and very balanced. 13.7%Alc/vol. $24

Congrats to you & the missus, Drew. Tell us about your new digs when you get the chance. (The Buckster also has a new place, but he ain't said much about it yet.)

What a pair to draw to..... A new residence and a nice bottle of juice! My heartiest and concur with the tasting notes. Didn't I post on that lil' darlin' somewhere in my foggy past? WW

"Clear ruby with slight bricking."

I read that and thought...'Cool...a new dark red house, with brickwork' before the rest of the sentence kicked in and made more sense. Anyhoo...congrats!

congrats Drew.

On that Lyeth, quite a nice wine--always has been, especially when it was priced under twenty back in the stone age of 1996.
