If you haven't tried them yet here are two great bottles. The '05 Abbeyville Reserve Napa, retails here for $16.99 but drinks more like $25-$30! A mouth full of deep dark blackberry and black cherry with hints of cassis and plums, firm & elegent tannins with a very long finish. Definately a meat eaters bottle since you want to chew it instead of drink it. A great every day bottle.

The '02 Philip Togni Tanbark Hill Spring Mtn Cab. This is a absolute beast that will knock your taste buds into a coma! Priced locally at $59.99 it's not cheap but it is the best bottle I have ever had under $100. Huge black berry and dark fruit flavors with VERY firm tannins that explode in your mouth. This is definitely a huge mountain cab that doesn't take prisoners. The downside (beside the price) is the decanting time, at least 12 hours, for the flavors to open up, but once it does it is incredable!

Hi there 01 and welcome to the board. Haven't had the pleasure of the Abbeyville but will definately look for it. Have been a fan of Togni since inception. He even was able to make a super 98. Again.Velchomme! WW
