Another boo-boo by the weener. Went after a 98 version of this and forgot I had 1 bottle of this vintage. Opened, poured, drank all without looking. Reticent nose that finally gave up some black fruits and spices. Color was almost ruby/black. After 45 minutes the taste evolved with plums, tart cherries, tobacco, licorich, and cassis. Very extracted and dense. Still needs another 2-4 to kick the tannins. Lovely effort. 91/ 88 79. 14.5% alc. WW
