Tried a new place the other day for lunch. They had lots of interesting dishes on the menu.

I had two dozen sauteed New Zealand mussels with a wine sauce green onion garnish plus a cup of duck gumbo. Both were delicious. Plus the meal was filling - just enough to quench my hunger. Paired all of this with a glass of Rancho Zabaco Zin. The zin went nicely with the mussels and very very nicely with the duck gumbo.

I think it was the somewhat strong flavor of the mussels that worked with the zin.

Price was not too bad either - all this for about $13.00 not including tax.

I'd definately place this in the " Keeper " catagory. Sounds like a super lunch for berry-berry lil' pesos.WW
