1999 BV Tapestry

Well Amg I found this sucker I set up last month and opened for lunch today. Deep ruby with light ruby rim. Nose typically Tapestry. Roses, brite cherries, cassis, vanilla, and a tad of spiciness. Elegant as is wont for this lovely blend and still has some silky tannins in the finish to carry it another 5-8. Lovely center, weighty center and a solid 4+ lapper finish.Another winner from this august Napa producer. 91/93. 38 by the box.13.9% alc. WW

Thanks WW. Glad to hear you think it's coming along nicely. We're trying to keep it outta sight/outta mind for a little more. And might start doing the 1/6-months some time late next year to watch it mature into the 2010s.
