What wine would go well with a tangy chinese delacacy, as well as a sweet one? Or which for each?

A pinot noir and a gewurtztraminer will cover the waterfront on Asian cuisine. If you have a buffet type presentations, have both available. Oregon pinot and gewurtz from the Alsace are recommended.
