Honig, Napa. About as good as it's gonna get.Nice dark tuby with medium intense aromatics. Nice red fruits, a touch of spiciness on entry, solid center and a 3&1/2 lapper finish. 88/87.26 by the box
St Clement Napa. As usual this outstanding producer brought some juice to the party. Purple with a ruby cast. 13% alc. Shy nose that took 45-60 minutes to open. Loads of fruit, a dose of cassis, bakers cocoa, and a black plum nuance added to the mix. Soft entry that was completely palate-coating. medium weight center and a solid 4&3/4 lapper finish. Still has some refined tannins that should take 2-4 to resolve. Count yerself one luck suker iff'n youse has this in the ole' cooler. 91/93. 30 by the box. WW
