From their estate Sonoma vineyard planted in 1919. The fruit from this killer site has been the backbone of many great wines over the years and this version is no exception. Black fruits, bakers cocoa, spices, and some saddle leather hit the nose and all come over on the palate. Impressive as all git-out and built for the long haul. Will improve over the next 3-6 and hold for meeny more. Outstanding juice and a real pleasure. 91/88. 69 by the box. 13.8% alc. WW
