i'm looking for some quick help here, folks. heading out late thursday morning on a 10-day vacation. having dinner saturday night at restaurant that seemingly has the following on its wine list at prices that border on criminally low.

i've never had a truly "classic" wine. i like BIG wines (gallo barrelli creek cab, swanson alexis, etc.) any tasting notes, input, comments would be appreciated.

the last time i had the chance to buy a top bottle of wine i chose poorly. but i'm thinking i can't lose with any of these babies.

MERITAGE
1990 Dominus
1991 Opus One

CABS
1992 B.V. Georges Latour Private Reserve
1992 Silver Oak

BORDEAUX
1988 Chateau Cos D'estournel
1988 Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou

thanks!

p.s. i imagine i'll be having steak for dinner.

Ten day vacation - six different wines. The only problem I see here is what to drink the other four days.
