A favorite premium bottling since 92. This bottle continues the run.51% Cab, 39% Merlot,9% Cab Franc, and all of 1% Petite Verdot. Another sophisticated bottling that combines loads of fruit and spices in a silky tannin core. Deep ruby that belies the merlot but a definate candied nose lets you know there's lots of stuff besides the cab in this hummer. A floral quality on the nose and palate. Great center and a long 35+ (4-1/2 lapper) second finish. Still lots of tannins to resolve. Give it 3-5 more. 91/88. 44 case at release. WW. This will be my last post on wine I'm drinkin' for a month as I'll be in my June sabbatical. GRRRR!!
