Great stuff!!! Bunches of both red and black fruit on the nose with dried cherries and chocolate on the finish. Just the right balance between varietal character and big fruit. Maybe a bit young, but perfect for my taste. A solid 92 with the spectator rating coming in at 88.

When I was a distributor I found it that it took FN cab approx. 4 hours to open. Really tight in beginning and lush & beautiful later.

How long did you let it open? I know that their wines generally need time.

To tell you the truth, I started about a half hour after opening and drank slowly over the next two. Evolved a bit, but was pretty much ready to go right out of the chute.
