I recieved this wine as a gift and opened it last night. It was so much different than any other cab Iv'e tried. The body was very thin with the color of a Pinot. Different than other cabs that have the 'inky' color and body. Has anyone every had this wine? MS

Ha, Ha! Im in the process of finishing a great bottle of Port by the fire, so in the Am I will give more info on the 'Irish' Murphy's Cab. :-):-) MS

It is a Murphy's 2001 Cab from Napa , Cali. 13.5% No other info on bottle and I was unable to find any info on the internet about it. P.S.Has a buffalo on the label. MS

Look for the words "vinted and bottled by" or "cellared and bottled by." If they are on the label, you likely won't find a particular winery or vineyard behind the product unless you dig real deep.

Dig deep enough and you might wind up in Ireland after all...
