Found a bottle of 1994 Voila! Meritage and thot it needed opening. The aroma was remisnisent of my gym shoes in Jr. High. Tho I knew there was no way, I forced myself to take a sip... BIG mistake. Nasty, musty, dusty, crusty liquid that had no relation to the noble grape. UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHH!!!ww

Those 87 Hermitage were tasting just fine - not dead at all. In fact, we had the last one just about a year ago and it was still doing wonderfully.
