1996 Beringer, Cabernet Sauvignon, Knights Valley, Retail $25. This is a nice wine for the price. 100% CS. Approachable now, even better in a year or two. Rich blackberry and black cherry fruit, unobtrusive oak, nice balance, and a long aftertaste. There is a bit of moderate green tannin on the finish that should subside with bottle time.
